AN ENTIRE LIFE
IN STORIES.
I came to production through music, performance, independent creativity and a willingness to figure things out. Every chapter has shaped the next.
THE WORK
KEEPS EVOLVING.
Long before I was producing commercials or managing television sets, I was making music. As Raye 6, I wrote songs, recorded, performed and built my career as an independent artist. Music was my first real education in storytelling.
Being an independent creative taught me that a vision is only one part of the job. Somebody has to bring people together, manage the details, solve the problems and make sure the work actually happens. I found that I loved that part of the process, too.
Over the years, I've worked across commercials, branded content, television, documentaries, reality programming, film and music videos. My production résumé includes projects involving Google, Walmart, The Home Depot, Eli Lilly, HBO, Netflix, Bravo, Lionsgate, BBC, VH1 and EPIX.
At the same time, I never stopped writing. Songs became screenplays. Ideas grew into entire worlds, and I started developing original film and television projects across genres.
Now based in Los Angeles, I produce commercial work while continuing to develop original stories for film, television and animation. The mediums are different, but the impulse is the same: make something meaningful, and make it happen.
